Personal Protective Equipment Course

 

 

Contaminated patients being transported to local hospitals is always a concern for all hospital staff.  It is a huge responsibility for each staff person to provide the highest possible patient care in the safest way to every patient contaminated or not.  Having the knowledge of knowing how to properly DONN & DOFF the correct personal protective gear will not only allow the hospital staff to have protection, it will allow them to  provide the quality of care that is needed for patient improvements. Furthermore, it will allow them to be able to end their shift knowing they are not taking any type of contamination home to their family members or loved ones.

 

This course is designed with three key objectives:

 

1) The know how to properly donn PPE

 

2) The know how to properly doff PPE with out becoming contaminated 

 

3) The know how to properly dispose of PPE without becoming contaminated or contaminating bystanders.
